Cracked/unresponsive screen

Smart Care covers touchscreens that fail to register input, experience complete blackouts, or have physical damage to the display glass, including cracks, chips, or shattered screens. Full screen replacement is included to restore device usability and appearance.

Protection against water or moisture-related damage

When accidental damage from water or other liquids occurs, Smart Care covers more than just typical spill scenarios.

Damage to the case

Smart Care covers physical damage to the device’s outer housing, frame, or encasement caused by drops, dents, or structural stress. Full enclosure replacement is provided when necessary to restore device integrity.

Malfunctioning or damaged charging ports

Smart Care covers wear-and-tear, loose connections, or complete failure to charge by providing repair or full replacement of the power interface component.

What types of damage are covered?

  • Damage to the device case: Covers drops, dents, or stress-related damage to the outer housing, frame, or encasement.
  • Malfunctioning charging ports: Covers wear-and-tear, loose connections, or failure to charge, including repair or replacement.

Is shipping included?

Yes! Smart Care covers all shipping costs for any repairs needed under warranty

Can I receive a loan device while my device is being repaired?

Yes, courtesy loan devices are available during repair, subject to availability.

I bought a device last year, does my warranty automatically extend to five years?

Yes, all previously purchased TTMT speech-generating devices are extended to five years in total, according to the original purchase receipt.

*TTMT devices come with a five-year warranty which covers unlimited repairs due to material defects, craftsmanship, or accidental damage of the product sold by Talk To Me Technologies or certified distributor, purchased and used in the United States. Coverage is not provided to products that are lost or stolen. Disassembling or opening the product voids the warranty. This warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage not affecting operation of the product. Coverage includes but is not limited to: battery and charger protection, cracked/unresponsive screen replacement, protection against water or moisture-related damage, enclosure damage repair, and charging port replacement. Unlimited phone and remote support is available to the end user, as well as use of a courtesy loan device during repair (subject to availability) with no shipping costs. Warranty extends to keyguards included with the original purchase and includes unlimited replacements or upgrades within the five-year period. This warranty extends to the end user with the original purchase receipt. Talk To Me Technologies will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product and may use functionally equivalent reconditioned/refurbished/remanufactured/pre-owned or new products, parts or components. This warranty applies to Talk To Me Technologies manufactured speech devices including the variations of Talk Pad, Wego, Zuvo, and Grid Pad. This warranty is non-transferable.
