About

M.S. CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Nick is a graduate of Ball State University in Indiana where he obtained his Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. Nick has been working in the field as a speech language pathologist in North Carolina for over 20 years. His professional experience includes providing augmentative and alternative communication assessment and treatment for complex communicators from birth through early adulthood in schools, private practice, and home care settings. As an AAC Consultant, Nick collaborates with other Speech Language Pathologists and assists in assessment, training, and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication across the life span.

Fun facts!

Nick was born in Indiana and lived there through graduate school. He moved to North Carolina at the start of his career.
He has a white Shih Tzu named Winston.
Nick loves spending time with his family and traveling.
Nick reads often and some of his favorite authors include David Baldacci, John Grisham, and local authors.
He has an extreme sweet tooth!

What I do best

Listen carefully to the needs of my clients, their families, and SLPs to gain understanding of how I can best help.
Provide my AAC knowledge and expertise to assist in finding the best possible communication solutions.
Answer questions and providing guidance with paperwork and insurance requirements during the process of obtaining an AAC device.
Train clients and their care teams on the set-up and use of new TTMT equipment to ensure easy and timely implementation.
