About

M.A. CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist/AAC Consultant

Daniéle helps to assess technology and access methods for clients’ needs during evaluations for AAC. In addition, she plays an active role in supporting and training families, caregivers, and other related professionals on AAC implementation and use. Prior to joining the TTMT team, Daniéle served as an Assistive Technology Specialist with the ALS Association’s DC/MD/VA Chapter, where she primarily worked with adults with ALS to support their communication needs throughout all stages of the disease process.

Fun facts!

Daniéle was born and raised in New Jersey, but now lives right outside of Washington D.C. in Maryland.
Daniéle loves spending time with her family and hanging out with her two dogs and cat – Mooch, Miko, and Rue.
Her interests include baking, hiking, camping, and beaching, and she's a foodie.
She wanted to be a speech-language pathologist ever since completing a mentorship in high school.

What I do best

Listen carefully to the needs of my clients, their families, and SLPs to gain understanding of how I can best help.
Provide my AAC knowledge and expertise to assist in finding the best possible communication solutions.
Answer questions and providing guidance with paperwork and insurance requirements during the process of obtaining an AAC device.
Train clients and their care teams on the set-up and use of new TTMT equipment to ensure easy and timely implementation.
