Nate's family has been his biggest cheerleaders. They have been instrumental in supporting him with his device. Nate loves to show off his Talk Pad Wego 8, and his siblings eagerly engage with him, making conversations lively and interactive.
The idea of using an AAC device came from Nate's dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). After consulting with Nate's doctor, the Townsley family connected with TTMT, and Nate received his Talk Pad Wego 8.
Since then, Nate's vocabulary has grown remarkably. Every day, he becomes more confident in using his device. Nate is speaking more frequently, both with and without his device, and his infectious smile is a testament to his progress and joy.
“He enjoys showing people his device, and we encourage him to if he’s having trouble communicating something. He enjoys showing things, he has a fun sense of humor, and you can see that fun sense of humor because he can express himself more through a device.”
Cassy Townsley, Nate’s Mom
