Funding Coordinator

Full Time | Cedar Falls, IA

The Funding Coordinator’s role is to ensure our clients undergo the prescription and/or face-to-face steps of the funding process as quickly and accurately as possible while maintaining communication with client/families throughout the funding process.
 
All roles require a commitment to open and respectful communication with staff, customers, and community partners; strict adherence to HIPAA standards and all applicable privacy regulations; diligent protection of proprietary and confidential information; and a consistent demonstration of our company’s core competencies. Further, all roles support our commitment to environmental
responsibility and continuous improvement in line with B Corp standards, helping reduce our environmental footprint, improve resource efficiency, and promote transparency.
 
Essential job functions:
  • Verify F2F or Rx requirements for each client file.
  • Communicate with doctor’s office to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Complete timely follow-up with client and/or doctor’s office to pull in required documents, meeting set department goals.
  • Communicate with family and responsible parties in a friendly, clear manner throughout the process, and at times, beyond as required.
  • Communicate and request required information from the client’s authorized medical
personnel.
  • Send files to Funding Operations Department in a timely manner to ensure the quickest and most efficient processing.
  • Document CRM as required in department processes to ensure knowledge is shared and
customers’ experiences are consistent.
  • Communicate with leadership regarding quality concerns, safety issues, and overall big
picture health of the department (efficiencies, ideas, needs, etc.)
  • Come prepared to regular 1:1s with assigned agenda and top-of-mind items.
  • Support sustainable practices by reducing waste and resource use while contributing to efforts that lower emissions and improve energy efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.
