Included in Grid software for Windows or iPad
Aphasia Duo is specifically for people who have aphasia.
The vocabularies are designed to be used by the person with aphasia, together with their communication partner – as a duo – though some individuals may use them independently.
Aphasia Duo has been designed for people who use touch access, but can also be used with alternative access methods such as eye gaze or head mouse.
Aphasia Duo 9 has fewer cells on each grid, meaning that the symbols and text are larger. This may be better suited to people with more complex language, cognitive, visual or physical difficulties (or a combination of these).
Aphasia Duo 16 has access to more vocabulary on each grid, with more potential to combine phrases and words to form sentences. This may be better suited to individuals with moderate aphasia.
