Introducing Evo

We are delighted to introduce Evo, a new intelligent eye tracker created by Smartbox.

Powerful machine learning algorithms have been trained on real-world scenarios to deliver fast, accurate, and responsive performance. Evo works seamlessly for users who wear glasses, have a range of head positions, and use the tracker in a variety of settings and lighting conditions.

Evo joins our portfolio of eye trackers and has been developed to make AAC more accessible to everyone.

Available with Grid Pad 13 and Grid Pad 16.

Building on new experience

Earlier this year, we welcomed GazeFirst, a German company with specialist expertise in eye gaze technology, into the Smartbox family.

Bringing GazeFirst into our R&D team has helped accelerate the creation of Evo for Grid Pad 13 and Grid Pad 16, with our modular enclosure.

Together, we’re committed to delivering the best possible experience for people who rely on eye tracking.

Intelligent eye tracking

Our advanced algorithms are designed to meet the unique needs of AAC users, and deliver faster and more accurate eye tracking.

On-device processing

All processing happens directly on Evo, rather than on your Grid Pad. A dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) delivers faster, more responsive performance.

Designed for Grid Pad

Evo has been developed specifically with Grid Pad and Grid software in mind, delivering a seamless, intuitive experience.
