Discover Smart Prompt, a new AI command in Grid
Smart Prompt is an online Grid command that helps you use AI to design your own communication tools. Just write a prompt (an instruction for AI) and Smart Prompt generates results that appear directly in your grid.
This isn't an AI chatbox; it's a flexible tool that makes Grid easier, faster, and more personal. You're in control, tailor your prompts in Grid to craft messages in a way that reflects your writing style, vocabulary, and communication preferences.

Who is Smart Prompt for?
Smart Prompt is designed for people who create or customize grid sets, whether you’re building tools for communication, independence, education, or fun.

Try Smart Prompt right away with Text Talker AI beta
To help you get started, we’ve incorporated an AI toolbar into a new version of Text Talker. Powered by Smart Prompt, you can try a selection of different Smart Prompt functions in a ready made grid set. Expand and adjust text, translate your sentence, find similar words, and create your own prompts.
These examples can all be customized in edit mode to suit you. You can also copy and paste them into other grid sets.
How to try Text Talker AI beta

Make sure you are online and have the latest software update

Opt in to the use of Online AI Tools in Settings – Data Control or within the onboarding page of the Text Talker grid set

Go to Add grid sets – Text Communication

Expand
Expand keywords into a full message. You can then choose from four responses, or you can try again or ask AI to make the text in the writing area longer or shorter.
Adjust
Take the message in your writing area, and adjust the emotion, tone, tense or style.
Translate
Use AI to translate your message into a number of languages. Use Edit mode to adjust the Smart Prompt commands to languages of your choice.
Similar words
Get suggested ‘Similar words’ for the last word in your writing area, then select one of the options to replace that word.
My Prompts
Write your own prompts and save them to use later. You can use these as templates for your messages, or use your prompts to explore AI. Note that the Smart Prompt is not a chat-bot tool, and does not store history.
