About

AAC Consultant

Hillary graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government and from UNI with a Masters of Business Administration in 2021. Hillary served 4 years in the AAC Training Specialist role. Her Training Specialist duties expanded from providing client trainings and overseeing our Veteran and pALS care programs; to serving as lead for overseeing device orientation for all new staff members, providing territory coverage for Consultants on FMLA, offering on-going device updates and trainings for the Sales team, clients, and clinical partners, and serving as a contributor to vocab and special project review teams. As an AAC Consultant for TTMT, Hillary is a trusted resource to assist in assessment, placement, training, and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication, access methods, and related technology.

Fun facts!

Hillary was born in Waterloo, IA, raised in Greene, IA, and spent her adult life in Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA.
She has two dogs and a fish, Porter, Winston and Blueberry.
She likes to create themed parties for friends and family.
Hillary enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and cooking.
Hillary finds herself listening to audiobooks to pass the time on long drives.

What I do best

Listen carefully to the needs of my clients, their families, and SLPs to gain understanding of how I can best help.
Provide my AAC knowledge and expertise to assist in finding the best possible communication solutions.
Answer questions and providing guidance with paperwork and insurance requirements during the process of obtaining an AAC device.
Train clients and their care teams on the set-up and use of new TTMT equipment to ensure easy and timely implementation.
